my philosopHyWhile there are undoubtedly some serious mental health conditions that require expert help, I strongly believe that many of us can improve our own mental health and wellbeing by getting to know ourselves and engaging in the process of working towards desirable changes. I can help with this by suggesting exercises to do and ideas to explore. I begin by encouraging you to develop your self-awareness, which in turn leads you to consider how you would like to be, and identifying any changes you want to make. Finally, I’ll help you in your self-development and movement towards your desired outcomes. The benefits you gain depend on the level of commitment you make and the amount of time you devote to the process.

How can this help you?Understanding ourselves means examining our ways of thinking and behaving, how emotions affect us, and noticing our physical reactions to situations. As we do this, we make sense of our individual responses and why they happen. There are some things in life that can’t be changed, but what we can change is our response to them.
